Harun Rahman explains and shows you how, plainly and simply. He will reveal the harsh realities of documentary producing. If you are a new to making documentaries you will learn about different styles and genres, how to prepare a proposal for your masterpiece and how to get funding your documentary. If you are already making your film, Harun will guide you through the maze of the commissioning and co-production jungle.

Instructor Harun Rahman is an accomplished director and cameraman, Harun has worked on projects for National Geographic Channel, History Channel, Channel News Asia and other international as well as local broadcasters. He has won numerous awards as a cameraman and director. Harun founded Novista to work exclusively on documentaries. Novista has been producing documentaries for over 20 years. He is currently the President of the Malaysian Documentary Association MyDocs.  He also regularly shares his knowledge at workshops and talks to universities, colleges and at FINAS on documentary filmmaking.
