Flipped teaching/flipped learning is a new technique of delivery lectures to students. In the old method of teaching/learning, students are exposed to the lesson plan during lecture and do their homework afterwards at home. In flipped teaching/learning, students do their own reading at home before lecture or class time. During lecture/class time, students practise and apply what was learned at home.
Speaker Dr Robert Chen teaches 4th year medical students at UTAR and has recently written a book How to Make Your Lectures Fun and Memorable to be published in September 2016.
