Industry-Academia collaborations in Malaysia is still low compared to other regions. This could be due to a lack of trust over issues such as intellectual property, uncertainty about the potential benefits of working together, and the difficulty on both sides of finding the time for initial exploratory conversations.
The Industry-Academia Collaboration Conference 2015 aims to bring together Industry and Academia to discuss, review collaboration issues and deliver a wealth of ideas for collaboration, and share successful experiences to inspire and energize efforts towards materializing successful partnerships.
