[MaGIC - Set Yourself on Fire: Startup Lessons from a YC Founder] Jason Shen was a co-founder of Ridejoy, a network for long-distance rideshare. Ridejoy raised over $1.3M from Y Combinator and other Silicon Valley investors, built a community of 30,000 drivers and passengers, and built an iPhone app that was featured by Apple in the App Store. Jason is currently a marketing manager at Percolate, a fast-growing enterprise software company based in New York. Jason's blog, the Art of Ass-Kicking, has nearly 200K readers in 2014 and his book Winning Isn't Normal was an Amazon Best-Seller. He earned a BS and MS from Stanford University, where he was team captain of the 2009 NCAA national championship team. Topics:
