A book club for lovers of the written word to come together over pots of afternoon tea (and coffee) for relaxed discussion, disection and deconstruction of their favourite readings. This sunday share your favourite rhymes & verses: poems, couplets, jingles, earworms, limericks, rap, pantun etc.
  • Poem - Arrangement of words that contain meaning and musical elements
  • Poetry - The art of poems
  • Couplet - Two line poem
  • Jingle - Advertising slogan
  • Earworm - A catchy song or tune
  • Limerick - Five line poem which rhymes AABBC
  • Rap - Poem performed to a beat
  • Pantun -  Malay poem of four lines and between eight and twelve syllables
  • Rhyme - Repetition of similar sounds
  • Verse - A line or group of words in a poem

Poem example:
Roses are red
Violets are blue
When you open photoshop
And [m]uck with the hue
[Violets are violet, not blue.]
