For this month's Wise Words With we are having Khairy Jamaluddin, Minister of Youth and Sports, who has been a strong supporter and advocate of social entrepreneurship in Malaysia. He believes that his ministry has a vital role to play in encouraging progressive young leaders and to promote the development of social enterpreneurship.

Khairy Jamaluddin was born in Kuwait City. He had his secondary education at the United World College, Singapore, and his university education at Oxford University and University College London. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford and completed his Master's degree in Legal and Political Theory at UCL. After leaving university, Khairy worked as a journalist for a period. He served as a presenter on the talkshow Dateline Malaysia. He also had a stint working for The Economist.
