Philosophy Night: Science Made Accessible

When: Mon, March 9, 8:30pm – 10:00pm, 2015
Where: Cafe9, Ming Annexe, 9 Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur
Admission: Free
Info: Event | Venue

How did scientific thinking come about? When did the thing we now call science first appear? Where did it first appear? Who were the thinkers most closely associated with the story of science, and what did they have to say about it? What do the sociology of science, and postmodern analysis have to say about this? Which way is it going now?

If these topics interests you, and you would like to create your own manual for intellectual self-defence, based upon the material we cover in the weekly sessions, and you would like to do this in a quirky café environment while eating some interesting food, then come to Cafe 9 KL, located at in the Ming Annex, near where the old Boom-Boom Room used to be.
