The high-speed rail (HSR) is a mega project that not only symbolises the warming of ties between Malaysia and Singapore, but also the increased economic linkages between the two countries. To quote Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in one of his interviews: The high-speed rail between Singapore and KL will make a very big difference to the connection between two very vibrant cities, in the way you can do business together, in the way you can travel up and down, the convenience of it.
