[Scaling Up Social Enterprises: Groupe SOS as a Successful Example in France] Groupe SOS is the largest social enterprise in Europe, employing 12,000 people, generating a turnover of $900 million in 2013 and positive impacting on the lives of 1 million beneficiaries. Groupe SOS is a leader in the development of innovative solutions in five sectors: youth, employment, housing, health and seniors.

As Vice-Chairman of Groupe SOS, Nicolas Hazard launched le Comptoir de l’Innovation (CDI) to promote and support social entrepreneurship worldwide by capitalizing on Groupe SOS’s 30 years of experience. CDI now manages a $20 million investment fund, four incubators and a series of events promoting impact investing and social business aimed at political and financial decision-makers.

In this workshop, Nicolas will:
  • Share the experience acquired in creating the leading European social enterprise 
  • Provide insights regarding key success factors in scaling up social enterprises 
  • Give keys on the creation of impact though programs to support social entrepreneurship
