YCM Special Session is a one-time opportunity featuring leaders of Malaysia organised by Young Corporate Malaysians (YCM). It is a platform for Malaysia’s brightest and inspiring CEOs to share their experience with aspiring young corporate Malaysians. For the end of year session we have the privilege of hosting YB Tuan Haji Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar (KJ), Minister of Sports & Youth.

KJ is UMNO Youth Chief and Chairman of Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad, Malaysia's premier entrepreneur development organisation. He is also Member of Parliament for the Rembau, Negeri Sembilan. Prior to entering politics, he worked as a journalist, policy aide and investment banker.

KJ was educated at the University of Oxford where he read Philosophy, Politics and Economics for his undergraduate degree, and at University College London where he earned a Masters degree in Legal and Political Philosophy. In 2005 he was selected by the World Economic Forum in Davos as a Young Global Leader and the Asia Society made him as an Asia 21 Fellow in 2006. He was also a Visiting Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies. KJ also serves as an airborne paratrooper in Regiment 508 of the Malaysian reserve army.
