Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra with Claus Peter Flor as conductor: Mendelssohn Symphony No.4 Italian. and Dvořák Symphony No.9 New World.  Mendelssohn's Fourth and Dvořák's Ninth are the most famous symphonies by these composers. One is from the Old World – Mendelssohn's Italian symphony, inspired by the sunny vitality of old Italy; the other is from the New World – Dvořák's New World symphony, written while the composer was living and teaching in New York.
