Aniu (Tan Kheng Seong) is a songwriter turned movie maker. Born in Penang, he studied in Chung Ling Butterworth High School and graduated with a major in Film & Theatre from INTI College. He gained popularity with the Taiwanese masses with his brand of quirky, folk-ish songs that mainly focused on his daily life as a kampung boy in Malaysia and unrequited love. His 2010 directorial effort Ice Kacang Puppy Love was a hit at the Malaysian box office. [The moniker Aniu - The Ox - refers to a simpleton who sees only the positive in life.]
