Malaysia is the second largest producer of palm oil in the world and the industry is one of the largest contributors to the national economy with exports recording an impressive RM 80 billion in 2011. In the first installment of the Global Malaysia Series, we talk to Tan Sri Dato' Lee Oi Hian, CEO of plantation conglomerate, Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad about the future of this billion-dollar industry.

Tan Sri Lee Oi Hian is the Chief Executive Officer of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad. He graduated from the University of Malaya in Agricultural Science in 1974, followed by an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1977.
